President's Choice "World's Largest Naan" aims for the Guinness Book of World Records!

All of us at FGF Brands love a challenge, so when Loblaw Companies asked if we could bake them "The World's Largest Naan," we raced to our dough mixers and started our engines!
The result, after a few fluttering starts? A single, solo, one-of-a-kind President's Choice SuperJumbo Naan, weighing 22 pounds (10 kilos), and measuring 9.5 feet long and more than a yard wide (40 inches, to be exact)!
The SuperJumbo Naan was baked in our patented tandoor oven in Concord, ON, in which we bake 1 million of our own International Fabulous Flats™ Tandoori Naan each week.
"We think of ourselves as adventurers in taste," says Tejus Ajmera, pictured at the center of the photo, taken at Loblaws' headquarters.
"We loved the President's Choice challenge and think we broke the previous world record by a large margin. The challenge fit our corporate self-image -- original, authentic, unboring!" explains Tejus.
Photos of the mammoth naan and a description of the baking process have been submitted to The Guinness Book of World Records. Loblaws and FGF Brands hope to learn soon whether President's Choice has achieved yet another new level in food firsts. Mind you, the Nutritionals on this Leviathan flatbread are a bit daunting, especially if you're on a low-carb diet!
